有关FBI Name Check 的处理时间

最近不少人问到FBI name check 的处理时间以及如何可以加快此程序处理。而据知 FBI name check 的处理时间有由3个月至1年(或更长时间) 不等，因此很明确说明其处理时间的长短。而对于部分的申请，由其自身情况移民局可对其FBI name check 加快处理，但是有所限制。有关信息如下，
Almost weekly, we hear questions about the amount of time that an FBI name check takes, and how to get them expedited. Unfortunately, like so many issues in the realm of immigration law, there is no way to tell how long one of these checks will take. We have heard anecdotal evidence of this process taking anywhere from three months to a year or more. Understandably, alien beneficiaries who are left waiting are frustrated, and are often interested in investigating ways to expedite this process. There is a short list of situations in which USCIS will expedite an FBI Name Check诉我就马上处理新的I-140及I-485。我马上向他要求，可否把旧的Security Check的结果用在新的I-485上，如此客人就不必重做。移民官想一一想说没问题，而且接下去说只要你传真I-140的撤回的信，这个新的I-140及I-485今天就批准。
